Yet Another Study Shows Same Sex Couples are Awesome Parents

This article in Child and Family Blog references a study with a small sample size but is nationally representative and controls well for extra circumstances. This study states lesbians/bisexual women in same-sex relationships devote more time to their children. This study verifies what almost every other study on female same-sex parents shows, that the quality of these parents is as good or even better than heterosexual parents. I am always very happy to see this. Here I draw attention to the fact that lesbians, probably in general, have less stable long-term relationships than heterosexual couples. This is an issue that obviously affects children. But overall all, children of same-sex couples do as well or better than their peers. It’s just common knowledge at this point.
