Kim Siever from Canada calls The Homoarchy "Transphobic." Guess what? He has Three, Yes Three Trans-Identified Children.
Kim Siever from Canada has called The Homoarchy “transphobic” in a blog post, “Dispelling two myths of trans hormone therapy. “ I accidentally came across this in an Internet search. Siever is complaining about comments left on this and other websites by a Canadian citizen he doesn’t like, in reference to an anti-“conversion therapy” bill, Bill C-8. The post he references is a letter I sent to the head of PFLAG regarding the failure of LGBT organizations to address legitimate issues people have with current trans activism and their irresponsible fomenting of suicide hysteria that violates all guidelines suicide prevention organizations promote.
Criticizing an ideology and activist movement that has engaged in abusive and censoring behavior for years is not transphobia; it’s self-defense. The real victims here are the people targeted by trans activists for saying things (often clearly true) these activists don’t like (see here). Hyperbolic accusations by mostly far-left, radical (self-described here) SJW types never address any valid issues many women and LGB people have with trans activism extremism. They just bleat, “transphobia!”
These individuals never bother to care about online aggressive sexual harassment of lesbians and gay men by heterosexuals with gender dysphoria now demanding sexual validation from them, lest they are called a bigot. They always cherry-pick what discourse they want to put forward to support their claims no children desist from gender dysphoria, a lie. Here is the link he provides. Its points are justifiably challenged in this paper by Dr. Ken Zucker. And I say justifiably because there appears to be a rapidly growing population of detransitoners, many who are lesbian or bisexual women, strengthing the idea we should worry youth are transitioning too young.
And there are multiple serious reasons why minors should wait until adulthood to transition, such as sterility, destroyed sexual function, and negative impacts on bone health and IQ. This is all inadequately addressed.
And Kim Siever has THREE TRANS-IDENTIFIED CHILDREN. It’s really shocking how so many people on the left support concepts of body positivity and self-acceptance unless it is a youth with gender dysphoria where the dissociation with the body and reality is mirthfully celebrated and encouraged. You can see how utterly impossible it should be to have three trans-identified children in one family here, unless one accepts the obvious- a socially contagious mental health and body dysmorphia condition (common historically). This quote would apply to a family with three children, not six as Siever has. Still, this should be exceedingly rare.
We asked a person competent in statistics to calculate the odds of having three seriously gender dysphoric children in one family based on some recent reported percentages of transgender people in the population. The first two percentages are from The Williams Institute. The third statistic is from a recent Minnesota school survey.
(0.3/100)^3 = 27 chances in a billion
0.7% = (0.7/100)^3 = 343 chances in 1 billion
3% = (3/100)^3 = 27 chances in 1 million
Gender ideology is pushing gender nonconforming boys and girls out of their own biological sex and then marketing extreme plastic surgery to them, and it’s widely celebrated as all good in left-wing circles. This isn’t positive, the worship of quick medical solutions for young people’s intense, but possibly transient feelings. This isn’t positive, the lack of valuing telling youth they are fine just as they are without radical medical interference or constant need for validation from others using biologically inaccurate pronouns like “they/them.”
Siever also describes himself as a "queer" man. Many queer-identified people fail to comprehend what an atrocity it is, and the huge impact it has, to inappropriately transition gay or lesbian youth, on these tiny minority groups. This is indeed happening, mostly to lesbian youth. They need more time to work things out, not the gender clinic. And if Siever has no compassion for those of us greatly concerned about medically defaced young people, detransitoning as part of a lesbian population that is barely 1% of the population, then bisexuals like this have no place in discourse about what constitutes gay and lesbian rights. Because the right to grow up without being altered by the therapy and medical professions is a human right that gay and lesbian (and bisexual) people had and are losing.
Thanks, Kim Siever, for the mention. Glad you spelled the name right. I and many other people will continue to decry trans activist threats, censorship, and demands for sexual validation, as you and all decent people really should. And we will continue to seek hard evidence regarding how many inevitable false-positives will result from underage transition. Since many of these youths will be LGB, LGB eugenics IS an LGB human rights issue. And eugenics is the correct word here.
Finally, I am very suspicious of any parent who has three trans-identified children. This now widespread and obviously socially contagious body disassociation in youth isn’t something to celebrate. The term I use for this lot is “Lupron and scalpel hugger.” There will be collateral damage. There already is.
